My first job was selling ice creams at Bertram Mills Circus in London’s Olympia. Instant lesson in the laws of supply, demand, and pricing. Second was selling apple juice at the International Food Fair.

Lesson: one will only be good at doing a job one enjoys. I have disliked apple juice for ever after.
